Jim Nicolow, AIA, LEED AP, is a nationally recognized sustainable design expert. He leads Lord, Aeck & Sargent Architecture's Sustainability Initiative, overseeing the incorporation of sustainable design strategies and features into the firm's design projects. Jim is a LEED Accredited Professional with extensive knowledge of the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Rating System. He is a frequently published author and noted presenter at conferences nationwide, and was named one of Building Design & Construction Magazine's "40 Under 40" in 2007.

Thomas Palmer and Craig Peavy will be speaking about their experience designing sustainable and LEED certified buildings. The presentation will include project specific goals, features and issues. There will be enough time during and after the presentations for Q&A. Thomas Palmer, LEED AP is a registered architect practicing in Chattanooga, TN and Atlanta, GA. Craig Peavy, LEED AP is a Project Managaer at River Street Architecture. Craig and Thomas are both graduates of Auburn University's Rural Studio Architecture program.
